Museum gets £300.00 donation in memory of Tony Roberts

Jane Roberts came to the museum today and handed over a donation to the Chairman of the trustees Trevor Barton, which had been raised holding a charity golf day in memory of Tony Roberts, who was a past Captain of Leigh Golf Club. The sum raised was £300.00 and Jane has specifically asked that the donation is used to help in building the platform we require to get the railway on site open for the General Public. We would like to thank Jane and everyone who attended the golf day and raised such a magnificent sum and you can all rest assured Janes wishes will be followed exactly and the donation will be used solely in starting work on the railway platform as soon as possible. Once again thank you all for your wonderful support.
