Family Bonfire Night – Saturday 4th November

Remember Remember in our case the 4th of November.

Thats when the Lancashire Mining Museum will be holding its first Family Friendly bonfire. The event is aimed and families and children. Admission is free all we ask is a donation of what you would spend on a box of fireworks for yourselves.

The display will be co-ordinated by a fully licensed pyrotechnic operator who has purchased the fireworks for us. This are category 4 fireworks which can’t be purchased without being certified. It will be spectacular, as the firing will be from behind the headgear so the display will be framed by our magnificent headgear,

Door open at 4pm with the bonfire lit approx 4.30 and the firework display at around 6.30pm

Children can bring a Guy to the event and each child bringing a guy will receive a commemorative badge.

There will be food available and a real ale bar.

NOTE : Because of the bonfire, parking will be limited on the site that day, so its better to park away from the site and walk. We are looking for local businesses to help us with overflow parking so follow our Facebook page for all the latest information up to that date.
